🌆📚 Year 9 Geography Fieldwork – Changing Places 📚🌆

Our Year 9 students recently explored Pyrmont and Barangaroo as part of their fieldwork for the topic Changing Places.

🔍 In Pyrmont, students observed real-world examples of urban consolidation, urban renewal, and gentrification.

🌱 At Barangaroo, they examined the development through the lens of economic, social, and environmental sustainability.

Using field equipment, students collected data on wind speed, noise levels, and building height — gaining hands-on experience in geographical investigation.

A fantastic day of learning outside the classroom!
